To access AUSRIVAS models from the AUSRIVAS predictive modelling software, you need to have a username and password.
Note that there is a charge for creating an AUSRIVAS account to access the models. The cost is $99 (50% discount for non-profit organisations) which you will be billed for after your account is created.
To get access to AUSRIVAS models
Only eWater Toolkit members can access to the AUSRIVAS models. Go to the eWater Toolkit website to request Toolkit membership (Toolkit membership is free). Then sign into the AUSRIVAS website with your Toolkit username and password.
To run the AUSRIVAS software each user requires access to an AUSRIVAS ‘model group’. On the AUSRIVAS website, go to “My Models” on the menu and under “My Account” request access to a model group by providing all the required info. Your request will then be processed.
Alternatively, apply for an AUSRIVAS account using the on-line form.
If you cannot use the on-line form, use the method described below under "If you cannot use the on-line form"
Your (completed) application is sent to your AUSRIVAS State or Territory agency contact for approval.
To process your model access request, the approving state or territory agency usually requires evidence of your AUSRIVAS training and experience (in their state methods) before granting approval. For other states, you should also demonstrate that you understand the differences in sampling methods between the states/territories (you have requested access to) and the consequences regarding the analysis of the data collected. To avoid any delays, please provide this information when requesting model access.
You will be notified by email, usually within two weeks. If you need access to the AUSRIVAS models sooner than this, please make sure your AUSRIVAS agency contact knows this.
If you cannot use the on-line form
Alternative steps for obtaining access to an AUSRIVAS model:
- Download or copy the AUSRIVAS Account Request Form and fill in the information requested (Fields 1 to 10 in the account request form).
- Answer 'yes' to agreeing to abide by the conditions of use (Field 11 in the account request form). The conditions of use are given on the account request form.
- Send your completed AUSRIVAS account request form to your AUSRIVAS State or Territory agency contact along with information regarding your AUSRIVAS training, accreditation and experience.
